I had point & shoots cameras all my life, this is my first DSLR and I’m very happy with it. This camera takes amazing shots. This package deal is perfect for the price but I would recommend buying one that includes an image stabilizer telephoto lens.

IT ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!! Coolest Camera I’ve ever played with. I have had lots of other lower end digitals and they are all ok – but his one is the best yet. It has all the bells and whistles of the older 35mm that my photographer friends have and love. i’ve let a couple of them play with mine and they say it is the best digital for the money out there.

I just wanted to assure others that Cameta Camera did send me the camera on time as promised.
It’s a good camera, the Canon Lens is quality, and (as far as I’m concerned) the “cheaper” Tamron Lens is very nice.
The bag, extra battery, memory card, card reader, make it a good deal, especially when you figure you get all of it for what you’d pay for just the camera and standard lens at a store like Best Buy.
